The Beginning of the End (tags: Everyone)

Clark woke up feeling a little naseous and grimaced ir wasn't hard to recognize the effects of Kryptonite. He stood up and glanced around himself with a uneasy feeling starting up, he glared at the woman before him and folded his arms as he studied her. "Mind telling me what's going on?" He asked calmly enough but with enough force to get his tone across.

Pietro groaned as he finally became contuse again. He must have been given a triple dose of whatever it was that knocked him out that was the only explanation for him being out so long. As he looked up he spotted his twin sister. He attempted to speed over to her but felt a sudden and intense shock go through his body bringing him to his knees as soon as he tried to use his speed. He clutched his neck where the shock was radiating from trying to ease the pain.

"Wanda, help!" He called out to his magical twin. Pietro was still receiving shocks through his body as he had to force his heart to slow down so the collar wouldn't keep hurting him.

Helena had been awake for most of the explanation of what was going on. She had hoped to find an opening to attack or to wait for the others to charge and herself to join in. But there were no openings and the others must have been too unsure of a plan to attack. She stood carefully and made her way towards some of the people she recognized.

She quickly caught up to Batgirl and kept her guard up incase of an attack. Honestly the only thing Batgirl and herself had going for them were their lack of powers. the others here were so used to relying on powers they were more likely to get shocked or injured simply by not concentrating like the man in pain on his knees.

Johnny had seen the other guy get shocked. He didn't want that for himself so he did a 'fast walk' to catch up to Superwoman. He never said this but she was kind of like a mom/big sister to him and he liked to be near her when he wasn't comfortable.

"Suit. Check. Swords. Check. Guns. Check. Collar that nullifies my powers. Check. WAIT!? WHAT?! Collar that nullifies my powers? NOT COOL! NOT COOL! NOT COOL!"

Ever since Wade woke up in this strange place, he knew something wasn't right. He couldn't explain how he knew what the collar did. But he felt like maybe he had heard of these before. Maybe like in a game or something, but he knew what it was and what it did. And he did not like it."

Wade peeled himself up off the ground and walked west. Now knowing where he was going or who he was looking for. He only knew he was looking for someone by the name of 'Kitty'.

Wolverine growled when he didn't get an answer. He listened in on someone else's conversation, before looking at his hand.

"Can't use my powers, huh?" He asked, before clinching his fist.

"Hey, Lady! Why don't you take these collars off of us and let us fight ya to the death right now!" He growled, glaring daggers at the woman.

Batgirl looked over and felt almost relieved to see Superman, but at the same time, more worried.

"Excuse me, Wanda..." She said, before making her way to the man of steel. "I don't know if I should feel relieved or worried to see a familiar face here." She said, standing before Superman, with her arms crossed.

Clark had been about to try and interefere with that man who looked a little too bad tempered for his liking. He frowned when he heard Barbara's voice and turned to look at her, "I'm starting to get worried." He confessed.

"Yeah, not everyday you see the Man of Steel caught." She said, smirking sarcastically. She was trying to lighten the mood in some way.

She glanced over at the man that was shouting. She winced. "I think he's running on anger, what do you think?"

Jade woke up, Feeling like a drug addicted waking up sober, rubbing her head Where was she? ..wait..Lian?! She quickly shot up. Lian? Where was Lian?! Roy...Where was Roy? What happened to Lian? She stood up, This woman...She was saying something but she couldn't completely understand, When the woman shocked the girl it was clear. She was behind this. Her mind was spinning, What if she had her precious daughter?! Jade wanted to rip that woman to pieces. But she stopped. What if she herself had a collar on? She touched her neck. Yes she did..

Any wrong move, And it would mean her death. She narrowed her eyes. Might as wel stay low for now..taking one step back. She looked over to the 'villain' house, She raised her eyebrow. Deathstroke was there too..So this was serious. Looking over her shoulder. Towards the 'hero' house. She noticed Superman. And a beast like man who shouted non sense at the woman. ''Keep it in Mister werewolf, Or you'll be the first to die.'' She said before she turned her head back to the woman aperently owning this place. Maybe she could find a way to break those collars..There must be a weakness in them. A smirk painted on her lips. Maybe a little bit of poison would slowly melt the collars..She would have to think about that. Did not sound like a bad idea.

Cassie had decided to wander around a little before heading to her designated "heroes" destination, so she meandered through the crowd and tried to find a point of interest. Finally, she came across a dark-haired woman who looked deep in thought, perhaps she play a little cat and mouse with her. She smirked.

Curling herself around the woman, she twisted behind her and rested her head on her shoulder, her arm around her neck and playing gently with her collar.

"Hello," Cassie whispered gently in her ear.

Jade raised her eyebrow when this woman brought her arms around her neck. ''Hello?'' She said somewhat unsure what this person was trying, It seemed like a cat person, Catwoman got a new suit and new hair cut or so? Catwoman was not so close to her, All she has heard of the woman is that she had a crush on Batman big time. Well whatever.

Jade painted a smirk on her lips. ''Mind telling me who you are?'' She Said turning her head a little.

Cassie heard the uncertain curiosity in the woman's voice and she instantly knew she had picked the person she wanted to play with well. She was inquisitive and challenging. Two qualities she liked very much. It seemed they could have a little fun together - hopefully.

"I'm Black Cat," Cassie purred softly into her ear as she moved around slowly until they were face to face. "What about yourself?" She looked her up and down through her black mask. She had a curvaceous and defining figure, she had trouble withholding her meow.

Jade grinned. Black cat huh? So far the cat like behavior. She could almost be Catwomans relative. ''Cheshire..Cat'' She joked lightly. As she raised her eyebrow. Jade tilted her head. The girl was purring? She grinned. That was funny. She put her hands on her hips.

''What's up cat lady? '' She asked as she looked to the side before looking back at the woman. ''You are pretty happy to be here.''

He winced at her words and then glanced back at the man who was still upset, he saw the woman explain everything about the world. "I think I agree with you." He admitted with a shake of his head.

Cassie giggled when she realised Cheshire too was a "cat" as such. Well, well, no wonder she had been drawn to her out of the masses of others. Tilting her head to one side, she analysed for any cat-like behaviour but she had to say, she didn't really display any. Well that was somewhat disappointing, but also intriguing.

"What is there to be unhappy about?" Cassie shrugged matter of factly. "I risked my life everyday anyhow, this is just the same but as a game, it could be fun," She nudged Cheshire playfully. "And a get to wear a collar," She winked with a teasing smile. "Why, are you unhappy?" She paused in her conversation to wait for a response.

She grimaced and glared at Morgan. She shook her head.

No one had their powers...

She didn't have powers though...

But she figured if she did anything, she would get shocked.

"This is not going to be a fun experience..." She said, grumbling a little.

Clark couldn't agree more, "Fights to the death....we have to figure a way out of here and fast." He muttered and winced slightly as the kryptonite started to get to him.

"Agreed..." She said, before looking back at him.

Barbara looked at him with concern when he winced. "You all right? You don't look so good..." She said, taking a step towards him.

She slipped a glove off of her hand and placed her hand on his forehead. "Clark... you're starting to burn up..." She said, in a whisper, not wanting anyone to hear them.

He let out a shaky laugh, "Must be a big piece of kryptonite...only thing that would cause me to react like this." He admitted darkly not minding the feel of her hand on his forehead.

Barbara cursed a little. "Come on, let's get you to that manor... I think you need to lay down..." She said, shaking her head.

"Why didn't they just do something with the red sun rays if they wanted to keep your powers in check? There's no reason to make you sick..." She said, leading him in the direction of the manor.
